This 2.5-inch grinder is compact yet efficient, grinding "special" herbs into a light, airy consistency with sharp, durable teeth. The magnetic lid ensures secure storage and easy removal. The first screened section grinds the herb to a perfect consistency. The lowest screened section collects the kief. Well made and easy to use, it’s a reliable tool for smooth, even grinding—great quality and excellent value.

It was easy to use, but you can tell that the quality of the item is a little bit cheap. The teeth are not that strong and you have to really really twist for the herb to grind up. Also things kind of get caught in it. I will look for a bigger one.

2.5" Spice Grinder ... I didn't know how, so "Thank You" to all the reviewers.I used peppercorns from a cheap broken grinder/dispenser from my grocery spice aisle. The freshly ground pepper is fantastic! This inexpensive portable grinder works in a pinch. The four sections, from the TOP down ...(#1) This top section #1 is held onto #2 by a center magnet, and will easily lift off. Turn the entire grinder upside down to gravity feed the spice into this section, then twist to grind.(#2) Section #2 unscrews from #3, but it gets very tight (-1 star). This is where I add spice to grind, and this is also where most of the grounds will be found.(#3) Section #3 unscrews from #4. Section #3 has a very fine screen. Most grounds do not pass thru.(#4) This bottom section #4 catches the finest dust that may have penetrated the very fine screen from above. Frankly, I wish that screen was removable.

This is made well but it just doesn't do the job. The holes are just too big so herbs fall thru before they are ground. I got it to combine different herbs to have little ready packs of seasonings for different dishes but unfortunately it doesn't work for me.

This grinder is mostly used for marijuana but there are some spices that will work well with it. The spice grinder is very well made and should last a long time. Don’t expect to grind peppercorns but it should work well for dried leafy spices. There are four parts to it. The top has a good magnet. The next part has sharp grinders that match the top part. The screen is in the next section followed by the bottom. The screen is ultra fine. You can remove the section with the screen and screw the other sections to bottom to bypass the screen. This can possibly be a better option if you are using it for culinary herbs.

It cross threads really bad. Maybe they just had a bad run. The color is as expected. It feels heavy weight. It’s just gonna drive me crazy that it cross threads

I ordered this mainly to grind bulk pepper to be able to fill my pepper jar. This did not work well for this at all. Despite lots of grinding I got really inconsistent results. Some was finely ground, there were still plenty of whole peppercorns in there. It was way too much work for bad results. Tried with Fennel and still did not have good results. This might be fine for another herb which is where I feel I've seen these before. But if you want to do it to use for a specific meal I'd not recommend this.

I wouldn’t use this for kitchen duty, this is a “recreational” grinder, and it grinds like a champ! It’s a huge upgrade from my 1.5 inch, and this one grinds pretty course. It’s excellent if you prefer your herb in a bowl or a paper cone.Machining is tight, and the rotation is super smooth. The coating looks solid with no signs of wear so far.Although you probably could use this for kitchen spice with low success, that’s not what this was designed to address
