EDIT: Added some closer pictures to show the difference between two different sizes we used on this fence project. The larger size required careful attention while screwing in to prevent the screw torque from twisting the strap.Original:Like the one reviewer stated, these are not heavy duty. Nothing like a Mineralac (sp?) conduit holder or similar. However, they worked very well for attaching livestock panels to wood framework to create a fence for an outdoor area. Originally ordered the 5/16" size to make sure it was large enough. It was large enough that if you screwed too tight, the metal would twist. The second batch (5mm) was the perfect size for the heavy wire panels. Almost no twist since the wire panel kept it from moving. Hopefully these will stay stainless after being outside for some time. The two closest to the latch are the 5mm size, others are the 8mm size and you can see some twisting. For the cost, they seem very nice.

I used these to replace the plastic brackets that come with wire shelving that constantly broke. These metal brackets did the trick! We used the 3/8â€, and they worked perfect for wire shelving.
