These are perfect for my Dremel! Good step variety that allows you to take it slow and make the sight adjustments you need.

I love this kit, the only issue I have is that the grit goes from 600 to 1000. I would like to have a 800 in there at least. Other than that, I get great use out of these.

soooo these are just rolled up sand paper sheets stuffed on a pole for the dremel and taped at the bottom, very crude but gosh darn it gets the job done!! At this price you actually get some decent stuff that works. It's funny how crude these are but it works so I don't mind.

I don't know who posts reviews here, but on first glance these sanding bits seemed off. The sanding surface had a raised portion -- sort of like a tail. Thought: I won't try this without safety glasses. Smart move,I attached a bit to my Dremel and started to work on shaping a 3/16" piece of wood for a ship model keel. After about 90 seconds the grit surface flew apart -- little pieces of it flying all over the place.I threw out the remaining bits. They may be cheap but they hardly seem worth the risk.

I like this product it works pretty well, the different grits make this set worth a second look. The shafts of the sandpaper is on the smaller size and frankly I had to switch to a smaller feral in order to use them which is really not a big deal but somewhat a small pain since most everything else uses the next size up. My only other complaint is that when you wear down the outer layer of the paper which happens pretty fast sometimes, the adhesive that holds the paper in place comes right off with it. Thus the 4 star rating. I was able to continue to use the sand paper by adding my own thin piece of painters tape at the bottom and this worked just fine but, every time you pull a piece off, the same process, add another strip of tape and continue. This gets to be a hassle if you are running thru the paper pretty fast and like I said at times you will. Overall I do like this product and this is the first time I personally have used this type sanding tips and it does make sense to me but, somehow doesn't quit reach that sweet spot to make it super convenient. My score would be a 8.5 out of 10 simply based on the sanding paper works pretty well and doesn't wear extremely fast and there is a nice selection of different grits, all pre-loaded.

These are different than any of the sanding drums I've used before. They're smaller than the ones made to use with a drill press, and larger than the ones that come in rotary tool sets. They are also made very differently. Instead of a rubber drum with a tube of sandpaper around it, each of these is a long strip of sandpaper, rolled up around the steel shank. Instead of replacing an outer shell, these just get peeled back, exposing fresh abrasive. There's a label at the bottom of each drum, with the grit # on it. The portion of the drum that is under the label is taped and glued to the shank. The paper above the label gets peeled, and the paper under the label does not. The paper is not perforated, so peeling the right amount of paper cleanly requires using a blade -- or a lot of patience.Because the label and underlying sand paper do not get peeled with the rest of it, they create a raised ring. This raised ring prevents the drum from sitting flat against a work surface anywhere other than at the edge and first inch of that surface.Since the paper roll is glued on, there's no easy way to replace just the paper when it gets used up.I have used other sanding drums that have use a strip of paper, rolled around the shank; but the other ones are designed to be cone-shaped, the entire wrapped portion peels, and most of them can take a replacement sandpaper strip. The set includes a good range of grits, and a decent quantity of each. The paper is decent, and will perform well on small stuff. And the shank will fit most rotary tools, drills, and drill presses.Bottom line:This set includes a good variety and quantity of small sanding drums, that will fit many tools, work well on properly-sized items, and can be peeled when dull to continue working. But the glued-on design severely limits the range of items these can be used with, and makes working with them somewhat awkward.
