The construction of the hammer is solid and has more weight than I expected. The snap and feel of the grip is also comfortable and solid. The wire brush is well constructed and durable.

It took a while to arrive, but when it did, it turned out to be a pretty good hammer. It's well balanced, and finished nicely. The handle feels good in the hand being made of some sort of rubber/plastic combination. There's a wire brush that was included, and it's a pretty typical one. A pretty good chipping hammer and wire brush combo, I'm satisfied.

This is now the largest chipping hammer I own. I'm used to the spring handle style that are much shorter and a little lighter. I'm not sure whenever I'll need to make slag meet it's maker, but for days when I'm frustrated, I might bring out this guy.It does crack slag off with little effort. No surprise there. I think the most interested thing about it is just the overall design. It looks like much more than just a chipping hammer. It has a nice V shaped neck, a comfortable handle with or without gloves, and a head that looks like it was designed and shaped rather than the typical rod with a chisel ground onto the end.The wire brush is chock full of bristles, and they don't pull out when running aggressively. It also has a nice thick handle that makes it easy to grip. It feels like a fairly soft wood, but it performs admirably.Overall a great chipping hammer set.Highly recommended.

I ordered this chipping hammer on September 8, 2024 - it wasn't delivered until November 15. Looks and feels good - I don't expect any issues. If you have time to wait on shipping, this hammer is a good choice.

This slag hammer/wire brush set took a long time to receive, about 2 months. If you can wait for it, it’s a great set. The hammer is bigger and heavier than others I’ve had, but it gets the job done with ease. The balance is nice in the hand, the quality is very nice and the design is quite pleasing. The wire brush has a lot of bristles and is easy to hold. It does a good job and seems to be good quality as well.
