Our Chelsea Pedestal Table Base is a square pedestal base made from solid hardwood, it is the perfect pedestal for an elegant to transitional style table design. This pedestal comes with a mounting plate. Some Assembly required; instructions are provided. Table top mounting hardware not included.
The largest recommended table top sizes:
Square Table Top – 36" x 36"
Rectangle Table Top – 30" x 42"
Round Table Top – 36" or 60" Diameter with 2 Chelsea bases.
The recommended max table top weight is 185lbs-200lbs. Anything larger or heavier, may require an additional pedestals. Be advised that these sizes and weight are recommendations. Please consult a professional contractor for best results and specific project questions.
Our pedestal is designed for a wooden table top and would also definitely work with a round glass top, but you will need to do a few modifications to it. You first attach a thin piece of wood, plain or decorative that you can get from Home Depot, Lowes or wood stores, to the top of our mounting plate to cover the holes before proceeding to the next step. Then, you use a transparent glue that can adhere the glass top to the pedestal. You can find this in your local Home Depot, Lowes or other hardware stores.

I bought 4 pedestals to build 4 gaming tables, they came perfectly packed and delivered with excellence. No major dings or scratches. I lightly sanded (as the manufacturer recommended) to apply the stain but I recommend to sand a little bit more because the stain didn't penetrative es easy.After the color and sealer they looked great and my customers were very happy.

The side of the base was cracked off from shipping and there was no replacement to send, so I had to go without. Also I saw some glue on certain areas of the finished wood that would not stain well if stained.
