These are great but make sure you realize they are mini beads, requiring a tweezer to assemble the picture. They provide great detail but recommend for tweens up given the concentration and dexterity required.

This kit was great and comes with so much stuff in it and was a great value for what i paid for it. I noticed the fuse beads in this kit are smaller then ones I have seen before,which is why I put 4 stars instead of 5, so I am curious what the difference will be in the end result. There are so many different colors in this kit with lots of fuse beads of each color. It also comes with several different patterns of all types of subjects you can follow, several clear pads to put the beads on to make whatever your making. There are some different papers to put on the project so you can iron it and the clear ones will make the project more clear and smooth and then a peice of some paper similar to baking paper that will make the project surface be a little more cloudy. This kit also comes with 2 pairs of different tweezers and some key chain rings to put your project on. This kit looks like anyone would have a blast and be able to show their creativity in their projects. My 10 yr old is very artistic and he will have a blast with this and it was one of the bigger hits for his christmas gifts. Definitely worth the buy.

I've noticed that sometimes the beads like to melt kinda funky. I'm used to the perler brand (they are compatible with them) and how they melt. These ones spread out more under the heat. I've also noticed that the tape method for ironing makes the adhesive from the painters tape to stick to one side of the bead project. Other than that, colors are pretty and the selection is nice for this pack. The shiny sheets are fun to play with and I'm enjoying the precise tweezers and giant mini pegboards.

The kit comes with pretty much everything you need, but the beads don't always melt like regular perler beads. Sometimes they'll shrivel up instead of just the top melting, and there will always be little holes there. The boards are good quality and the plastic sheets are interesting to work with though.
