My only complaint is that the camera lens module which installs in the view hole from the outside of the door is not flush with the door surface. In addition to the lens itself there appears to be a circuit board contained in the lens shroud. My existing door knocker would have hit the lens module, so I was required to. move the door knocker below the lens module to have both function. Rather than 15 minutes to install, I spent over an hour installing, And I still need to fill and paint holes from the original door knocker location.

I bought it for my parents house to keep them safer being able to see who is coming to the house ( out of the country) never imagined that they will have to get new batteries every week to keep it working.What a mess.

If you have storm door it will reflect back and you will just get light from night vision for picture. I will use on other door instead of returning.

Great device. What would have made it better, was if the captured photo had a date & time on it.
