Got these to go with Star Wars costume for Halloween. Everyone in family (adults & children alike), love playing with for their bright colors and sound effects. Probably not sturdy enough if your kids plan to violently sword play, but hold up fine for light play.

I bought these for my grandsons and was pleasantly surprised of how sturdy they were, well worth the money. Lights are bright and never broke regardless of how hard they hit them together. They hook together to make a very cool one piece wand as well.

These seem like they will hold up for Halloween at least, I'm not sure about how long they will last after that. They are okay quality but seem cheaply made.

Perfect for my 8 year old son. The sounds and lights are of good quality. The connection feature is also a neat aspect to keep him interested. Our family has had a lot of fun playing with them together. They’re lightweight without compromising quality.

I read the description and knew to expect noise when the sword hit something. What i did not expect was that this toy would constantly make a very loud, annoying motor sound. Both swords did this, so I figure it's a feature. I don't want a toy that is nonstop making motor sounds, so I will be returningOther than that, the toy looked great and functioned well! Eveb the FX sounds when you hit were cool. Just a bummer about the other sounds.

My kids (5 and 7) love playing with them! the colors work great, and the sounds are fun. They do exactly what I expected. I am sure that they are not durable enough for full contact combat, but that is to be expected. The kids are able to fight gently, and have a great time.

Item is not very durable and is plastic all over. It does have three colours that you can cycle through and attaches together easily. It does not make different sounds when you swipe the unit around as the box claims.
