Nice landscaping rocks. I put them around solar lights so the rain won't splash mud onto the lights. They are bright and visible even in lower light situations so they're also good for marking potential trip hazards and so on. The rocks are a good size and not liable to wash away except in really extreme flooding. I think the asking price is pretty steep, but also that these rocks are very nice to have around. They bring a civilized and calm feeling to otherwise rough terrain. I made a path out of rocks like this and it adds tremendously to the forest setting.

This review is for the "Biotolot: 8LB 2"-3" White Rocks for Plants, Garden Landscaping, Planters,Aquarium,Vase fillers, Indoor & Outdoor Decor".I was expecting more for an 8 lb bags of rocks (stones, really). The quality is nice. The color is nice and bright white. Most were larger than I anticipated (odd shaped between 2 and 3 inches in size), mixed with just a few small ones. In total, I'd say the bag contained around 20-25 rocks. One bag does NOT go very far. An 8 lb bag covers about one square foot of ground. That's $25 per foot!!The price is REALLY HIGH for these! I assume that's for the convenience of ordering online and having them delivered, instead of you having to go to the store, load heavy bags onto a cart, load the same bags in you car, unload the same bags once you're home, clean the mess of residual rock dust from your car, and finally move/empty the bags of rock at their final resting place. I got a backache just listing it al out. So, yeah!... You're paying for convenience! I'm knocking off one star for the pricing.Did I mention the amount of "rock dust" powdered up in the bottom of the bag? Nonetheless, these are really pretty rocks. For reference of how big an 8 lb bag is, see the pic I took beside a 2-liter soda bottle.

Used these white rocks to weigh down some fake flowers I placed in front of my door. The rocks are covered in a white dust. I didn't bother washing them off and just used gloves to not get the dust all over me. The rocks are a good size for a garden and have a nice weight to them. The color is a true white. It's a decent value for the money as these rocks look much nicer than what I already had. Good quality and functionality because they are well... rocks.

Pros.Good for my outside planter boxes.Bright white color.Cons.Questionable for aquarium use. I ordered this for use in my freshwater aquarium. The description states it’s useful in aquariums. That seems like it was added as an afterthought. No identification as to rock type or source. I’m not taking a chance with aquarium use.Overall.The white rocks will brighten up my outside planter and hopefully discourage squirrels from digging up the dirt.

I was looking for some rocks to grow lucky bamboo in water on and found this 8-pound bag of smooth white rocks. A little dusty, but easily washed off. It meets my needs and is perfect for decorating some of my planters as well. Note that 8 pounds is not a lot of rocks and is pricey; but that's the going rate, and you can just order some easily and not have to carry bags of rocks very far, which I am unable to do. ( Rating the rocks, not the price.)

These appear to be real white rocks and not rocks painted white, which is nice. They were very dusty as received but the dust washed off easily. The rocks came in various sizes and were mostly in good shape as received. I only found one rock that appeared to have been broken. These aren't rocks with smooth surfaces that you would use to paint designs on. I plan on using them to weigh down raffle bags and to use as ballon weights by placing them in organza bags.

I'm always cautious when adding anything to my aquarium. I was curious to know what kind of rocks these were. So, I performed some tests—a vinegar test and a scratch test to see if they were marble, and a boiling test to check for other minerals and aquarium safety. From my tests, I believe these are quartzite and inert, making them safe for aquariums, which is what I wanted them for. I like that the rocks are nice and smooth, so they're safe for fish that could get scratched by rougher stones. While the color looks good, I was disappointed with their size. Only a couple were over 2 inches, while the majority of the stones were around 1 inch. This bag was supposed to contain stones 2-3 inches in size, but I received mostly 1-2 inch stones. Nevertheless, I can still use them, but these rocks are not worth $24.99 due to the size discrepancy. Also, it would have been helpful to just name the exact material the rocks are made of so people do not need to guess.
