My microscope camera a RT5109 4K 60FPS IMX332 sensor non-auto focus camera and the shell is compact so the sensor is closer to the threads. That causes a .5X / .45X C-Mount lens adapter to be just a hair closer to the sensor that caused problems focusing. Adding one of these 1MM shims separates the adapter enough so you can use the focusing knob to adjust for a par focal view.

Ordered these because based on the title the 10 pack looked like it contained several different sizes of C mount extension tubes. It's actually just 10 5mm spacers.
