I love air tool swivels. It's very difficult to find one that does not have a very small leak. In fact I have never found one. It swivels nicely. It doesn't have as much swivel as a 360 degree fitting but you can get some bend without stressing your hose. They are milled pretty good and the anodizing completely covers the unit thoroughly. Mine arrived loose in a plastic baggie so my threads have a few slight dings in them. I would not keep this installed on your tank but if you want to plug it in and remove it after each use, these are great.

The red lock tight stuff, makes it virtually impossible to get this on any air tool

I like how stiff the joint is. The ones with a looser joint don't last long. They tend to leak faster. These have locktight on the threads and they give you tape so you have choices.

It is amazing how much better these swivel fittings make your air tool experience versus a rigid straight fitting. Not sure about the purple color, but these do look nice and the quality is right there with other brands of this style fitting I own. I have tried to convert most of my tools over to this style because they are so much easier to work with and help to keep your hose in a good position. Not sure why the threads came with sealant already on them if they were going to include Teflon tape. I rarely use the included Teflon tape because it usually feels cheap and much thinner than you purchase at a hardware store. Instead, I use the thicker (rated for gas) yellow tape. I have had no issue with these fittings leaking running between 90-120 psi. These are quality quick connects and mate well with several different couplers I own.

Not sure how the preâ€applied thread stuff works. Went ahead and wrapped the connector in Teflon tape just to be safe. 1 star loss because the angle of pivot isn't as high as I'd like to be. I do like the purple color on it though. Makes it easier to identify at a glance when I don't have the air chuck attached.
