I provide meals for my elderly parents, and it is convenient to split a 9x13 casserole into two 8x8 pans, serving one and freezing one for later. I've tried different brands of 8x8 glass pans, but they either weren't true 8x8, were shaped too awkwardly to store or stack easily, were difficult to clean...I was excited to try these pans when I saw them. I put them through their paces with sticky cinnamon rolls, thick layered lasagnas and other cheesy and starchy recipes. These pans DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I can confirm the following:-- true 8x8"-- heats evenly-- NOTHING sticks; clean up is a breeze-- lightweight-- nestles together for easy storage but does not create a vacuum that makes it impossible to separate (if you know you know)-- wide top edge makes it easy to transfer pans in and out of oven/refrigerator/freezerThe following is true of ALL coated non-stick cookware and is not a deficiency in this product but should be noted:-- metal/sharp edges WILL scratch the non-stick surface-- NOTHING will stick to the non-stick surface to include cling and press plastic wraps. These 8-inch square cake pans are perfect for all my baking needs! They have a sturdy, well-made design that distributes heat evenly, giving me perfectly baked brownies, cakes, and cornbread every time. I’ve even used them for lasagna, and they held up great in the oven without warping. Working very well for cakes and lasagnas as that's all I've made thus far.So far, after many washes and uses, I don't see any rust at all.Cleanup is super easy—food doesn’t stick, and they wash up nicely. The size is just right for small to medium batches, and having two in the pack is a bonus. Great quality and great price, definitely highly recommend for anyone who loves to bake!
