I wanted to do an engraving project for my wife, and I was happy to find purple anodized aluminum. It engraved very well and turned out great!I may be putting this color in my shop. I hope to find something cheaper in bulk.

This product came very well packaged, very flat which I was surprised by based on previous experience with similar product. Cut well with a CNC and engraved flawlessly with a 60W fiber laser.

I used these on my laser engraver and the results are so much better than the sheets I've been getting from Home Depot. My only gripe is that a single side of each sheet is protected with plastic. The side that isn't has a chance to get scratched, especially when I'm moving it around my work shop. Not a huge deal but it would be the perfect product if both sides were protected.

Used the plates to replace cover over floyd rose cavity and electronics cavities . I wanted better emf sheilding for my dean razorback so i used these... all cut and files with a dremel tool... countersunk the screws and all... plays great now without feedback when using tspe echo or chorus and cleaner sound when push/pull pots activated for coil split humbuckers.. all from a piece of aluminum to replace old plastic cavity covers.. and looks nice too..

I can't really get it to show in the photo aside from the overall bend, but it's warped enough to cause stress lines in the finish. Also one of the edges has a decent chunk out of it. The purple finish looks incredible, but unless I cut off the damage and can somehow flatten it back close to its original shape, it won't be very useful. I shouldn't have to fix a new item and hide damage on it.
