i used them for pulling a leaning tree so as to not hit house. i used a 3 ton puller and chains and pulled until i could not rachet more, cut tree slowly until started to move and retighten, and repeat about 10 times until tree was safe to drop. i am quite sure i exceeded the 4,400 lbs max load, but i know there is usually a bit higher load limit and i was 30 feet away with blanket over chain.dragged a 16 inch log by about 16 feet behind tractor and worked great!

The hooks are just what I needed when moving or lifting logs. I was pleasantly surprised that roll pins were used to secure the link pin, not an exposed cotterpin which would have been easily damaged and lost during use.

These choker chain logging hooks work great. I used to use a grab hook on one end of chain and a ring on other end ,the ring was always getting bent up and hard to get chain thru the ring. These hooks have changed that they are easy to use and very strong,I use a grade 70 chain that is very strong and the hooks are as strong

Needed these for my logging chain to pull treetops out from a friends property. They are holding up perfectly thus far!

These worked like a charm along with the log puller I built which worked hand and hand and make pulling easier .

Works great with 5/16†chain for dragging logs out of woods. I have been working with my four wheeler dragging small logs and they are easier to use than a choker loop chain.
