Some receptacles are a little too small and these don't fit in. Some other receptacles will accept them but that's what you get when the tolerances are not machined perfectly. I usually buy some from a different vendor and test them with the different female connector to make sure that they function with no leakage. Chinese products are a hit or miss because of the tolerances being a little off sometimes. Make sure you use proper silicone lubricant so the o-rings will function properly
