I bought one of these and it works great and lasts about a year before it tore which is pretty good for how cheap they are! If you live somewhere like me in Wyoming it’s windy all the time it really does cut down wind noise. Worth it, check out DE Outdoors on YouTube.

I bought this because I film metal detecting hunts at the beach. It can be very windy at the beach and my GoPro would just have wind noise. I've used this foam covering several times and it's great. I used it at an island on a very windy day and this cover made it seem like a not windy day. And because it's foam, it's very easy to put over the GoPro. I've not had any issues and am glad I bought them.

Both arrived torn. Flimsy and unusable. I assume these were returns.

I've used foam covers before on my Hero 8 black that I got off ebay to reduce wind noise. These were just as good and I had them in a few days rather than waiting for them to ship over from China like the ebay purchase in the past.It is a pretty marked difference when you use a foam cover, especially for my application of mountain biking. The camera is able to pick up all of the noises from riding and the bike. I especially appreciate it because I ride with my kids and follow them sometimes with the gopro. We chat while we are climbing and it is pretty cool to capture some of these conversations that I know I'll treasure when they are all grown up and out of the house.If you are using your camera for some sort of action sport these covers are definitely helpful!

Reduces wind noise for up to 35-40 mph. After that, the wind comes back and drowns out other noises. Foam is more soft than expected for “high-density†foam.

Very nice product. I used it almost every day and I take the go pro out almost twice a day. No rips, no wear and still snug. I definitely recommend this product.

I use my go pro for MTB bike riding. Product doesn't get rid of all wind sound, but does a decent job. I am satisfied with it. Appears to be durable as well.

They worked quite well to cut wind noise during recording, even at 50+ km/hr. Snug fit, won't fall away.
