The problem that I had for washing shoes is that it is loud and in the dryer it would sometimes pop the dryer door open and interrupt the cycle. With these I can safely (for our shoes and appliances) to wash our shoes without issue or a bunch of noise.

These pouches are a great idea and I love using them (the other set I purchased). Firstly, they shed badly. You’ll need to wash them inside out a few times or you’ll have fuzz on your shoes that’s almost impossible to remove. Secondly, the zippers are crap. You have to zip all the way and under an elastic band and then put the zipper in the down orientation or the bag will come open during the wash or dry. But, it’s so hard to get the zipper to that position that it often gets stuck. I have had to open it from the bottom and try to rethread the zipper too many times and I just got fed up and tossed this set.My advice, get zippers with smaller teeth. I have an orange set that has worked beautifully (but it also needs to be washed inside out as well).

These bags Keep your shoes together with less banging in the dryer! If you need to wash and dry shoes one of the most annoying parts of doing this is the sound of tumbling shoes in the dryer. these bags help reduce the annoying decibels a lot, yes you still hear the sounds of your shoes but this will reduce it by a lot!The bags are designed and made very well, and will not fall apart on you after some use!

TL/DR: keep shoes from banging the side of the washer, but may not get shoes any cleaner than w/o.These shoe washing bags are a great idea. Whenever I've washed shoes in the past, I've always just thrown them in and listened to them banging away in the washer. These are definitely an improvement to that! They serve as a buffer in the washer, however I don't know if they get the shoes any cleaner than if they were loose in the washer.They are big! I chose this listing with the two pack because I thought that I would need to use one bag for each shoe, but both sneakers fit inside one bag. So far so good!

These are great to clean your sneakers in the wash, and protect other clothes from damage from just throwing your sneakers in a load. they don't bang around as hard and the do a nice job of cleaning. Just take the time to wash these before using them to wash your sneakers, as the first time the microfiber sheds and will get all over the shoes. (personal experience.) I have thrown away some shoes that looked like they were really no good, but after a cleaning in the washer, it gave them a second life. Probably threw away some good shoes because they were so dirty, but nothing really wrong with them. Times are not so great to constantly throw away things that can just be cleaned.

I was so excited to finally get a set of these! They worked really well to allow our shoes to get clean. They are nice and bulky so it cut down on the banging around in the washer. I would recommend these to anyone.

First use and the bag came out from the machine all damaged.
