Low visibility: Fluorocarbon is known for its low visibility underwater, this can be a huge advantage when fishing in clear water or targeting wary fish that are easily spooked. But it is visible while they can track their tenkara rod casts and strikes.
Tenkara anglers prefer fluorocarbon over mono filament because it’s denser and tends to turn over better. Lighter lines like # 3 can make more delicate presentations, Heavier lines like a # 4 can cast easier (especially in wind).

While I wouldn't consider this #3 pink super high-vis I find that a good thing. It's nice and supple. I was surprised that my 3.65m rod could huck it around. You get two spools for this price and you really can't beat that with a stick.

Iâ€™ve used it with a tenkara rod for a couple months. Still retains a bit of memory but casts well! Iâ€™m now realizing a bit heavy for my style but Iâ€™m excited to get the 3x line.

I was a little skeptical when I first looked at it. It's not as thick as the fly lines I have used in the past. Turned out to be just fine. It casts well. I have caught some fish and have not yet broke the line a single time. I like it.

This is a great light weight leader fishing line. It didn't tangle very easily, and it was easy to put on my reel. Casting and reeling is very smooth.It seems a little pricey for the amount of product, but I would still recommend it.

I have several products from Aventik and I love them all. I only recently got myself into Tenkara fly fishing and thereâ€™s a learning curve with this approach to fishing. Iâ€™m still learning and Iâ€™m still due to hook into a decent fish but Iâ€™m impressed with how strong and smooth this line is. It has almost no â€œline memoryâ€ itâ€™s easy to cast once you get the hang of it and it makes for a lot of fun on the water. If youâ€™re not like me and are more of a seasoned angler in the Tenkara method, I see no reason why you wouldnâ€™t want this line. Itâ€™s affordable and very strong. I look forward to using it as I learn and get better acquainted with this technique.
