Works great. I haven’t had the lid come off. I did remove the handle so I cannot comment on that. This has been wonderful to transport pies. Md baked goodies.

This pie keeper was so nice I bought 2 more. They hold large and small pies and the lid is made so you only have to lift off half to get a single piece. Well worth the cost!!

Used it for the first time to transport a thanksgiving pie… picked it up from the table and took one step, the case and pie fell from the bottle and shattered all over my floor….so disappointed. The carrying handles are absolutely pointless. I had to throw the case out before even leaving my house because it cracked in half.

We often buy medium pizzas, but, as we both like different toppings (and the deals are terrific for 2 medium pizzas), we wanted a container to hold the leftover pizzas. This really fit the bill with the divider to separate the layers (and keeps his olives away from my mushrooms) and it does a great job of keeping the pizzas fresh. It would most definitely work as a pie keeper as well. ðŸ˜

Here is an idea. I got this for my tortilla wraps. The bread box wasn't the right fit but this keeps my wraps fresher longer. Closes snug but easy open. Lift one side and pull out what you need.

These containers are so convenient and I use them for everything. They open and close easily and are so handy when carrying out. I would recommend.
