These are loud! Bought them for celebrating a graduation. Very compact. Can easily fit in a pocket or small purse. But boy is it loud!!!! You won’t be disappointed. Just be sure you carefully attach the top so it doesn’t leak out before you can use it. Not sure how long they last, but it served our purpose.

Little thing is VERY LOUD. I tested it outdoors, while the subway train was passing by and you could still hear the horn over the loud subway. Purchased this to protect my dog because of recent dog attacks in the neighborhood. I figured if it will scare a bear away it will be enough to keep a dog away from mine. Hopefully won’t ever have to use it.

These are very tiny cans, and very tiny horns. They are loud, but when the cans are empty, they are useless. They have a screw on plastic horn and you cannot buy a replacement air can with a screw on top. Normal air cans like you use for your computers, keyboards, and other electronics have a snap on pressure seal on the top with no way to screw the miniature air horns on to them. The description does say 1.4oz cans. To put that in perspective, a standard air duster can is 10oz. I bought these to deter the deer that are eating our garden plants. The deer are totally not afraid of people, even when you yell and approach them. A one second blast made them run. Be aware,these miniature air horns are NOT RETURNABLE. If they were returnable, they would probably be one of the "most returned items." I do NOT recommend them.

Got these to use in my boat bag for emergencies on the water. Have not had to use them but tried them out and they are totally loud enuf. Recommend to others.
