I used them on two Coleman and one Igloo cooler. I installed weatherstripping on these coolers to make them airtight. These toggles allow just enough pressure to seal the lid down and compress the weatherstripping. This makes the coolers far more effective. Air leaks drastically reduce the lifespan of your ice. I suspect weatherstripping plus latches is far more effective than foaming the lids, and not addressing the air leaks.

I use these for my old garage fridge and freezer. Easy to keep sealed and seems to be of great quality. No rust after two years.
