We had a Hampton Bay fan that we really liked. It was running slow. This fixed the problem. It was a bit of a pain taking the fan apart to get at the capacitor, but it took about an hour and the fan was running like new.

Replacement capacitor for a Minka Aire Dyno fan #F1000, which was slow running. The Minka part # is C4500/35, but was unable to find from local companies. Did find online through other retailers but for double the cost and slow delivery. Pulled the capacitor from fan and matched specs with Amazon choices. The max voltage needs to be the same or greater than original which is 350v. The Amazon is 450v. This capacitor is a 1/4” longer, but still able to fit. Also, had a protrusion to anchor with a screw, that I cut off. Minka support will tell you how to test fan to verify problem.

I had two ceiling fans that had blown capacitors following Hurricane Beryl. I disassembled the fans, and discovered that the capacitors on each fan had failed. I ordered these from a seller on Amazon. They arrived a day early, and I was able to easily replace the capacitors, and the two ceiling fans are once again working like a champ!! A fairly inexpensive repair, and much cheaper than buying two new fans.

Product arrived looked like the picture with red and white wires and had the mounting tab. Only complaint is that the picture showing the dimensions is inaccurate for the inches. Use the metric mm dimensions shown if size is important (which it was for me to fit into the fan control module case). Luckily It fit in the spot where the old one was and was roughly the same size (just a tad larger).

Finally have high speed on fan again. Tried replacing remote receiver first, but still had no high speed so did more research. Found probable cause to be capacitor even though old one looked fine. Figured at this price couldn't hurt to try. R and R'd old one and works like new. New capacitor has screw tab that old one didn't, but was still able to fit inside fan. Just match the uF rating and make sure volt rating is equal to or higher than old one.

Missing connectors. One cap has cracked plastic on top. Don't think it's going to cause it not to work but still shouldn't be cracked

So the replacement is larger than the OEM. I could not use the retention screw to hold the capacitor in the original spot. But it did fit if you turn it sideways. I'd suggest a piece of double sided tape to hold it in place. Other than that it works. It comes with with easy quick connectors too. So that's a plus

My ceiling fan was not working very well- moved very slowly. I read that chaning the capacitor might help so I bought this one. You have to remove the old capacitor to check its settings before you choose a new one. I did this and after replacing the capacitor the fan works better than when I first bought it.
