These are very useful pads to have since it allows the sanding pad to contour around different surfaces.

If you work with wood and want to smooth out edges then this is the solution. I do a lot of guitar building so I am always looking for better solutions to project finishing and found these to work great with my orbital sander. They stick on perfectly to the bottom of the sander and the 5†sanding disks fit perfectly to them. Time will tell how durable they are but at their sale price they are a bargain!

Serves two purposes...These pads help to protect the hook-&-loop attachment on my ROS, allowing it to last longer. They also allow more control when "breaking the edges". I don't necessarily want a roundover, but I do want to remove the sharp edge of, for example, a tabletop.I wasn't paying close attention when I ordered so was pleasantly surprised to find the kit comes with a soft and not-so-soft pad. The soft allows me to get a more rounded edge than the not-so-soft, while the not-so-soft pad allows me to just remove the sharpness without adding too much roundover. Nice!The hole pattern doesn't match perfectly with my Craftsman ROS, but I've not found that that causes any issue with dust extraction.Very happy with these.

Been using this for a little bit, seems to work well on my Milwaukee. Doesn't seem to inhibit the dust collection at all, so that is a plus.!

need to sand a table leg or wooden spindle and you need the sandpaper to work into those grooves and hard-to-reach curves? This orbital sanding pad lets your paper conform to the irregularities and remove the finish or level out the bumps and nicks. A nice add on for anyone that does a lot of refinishing. Very nice.
