Im using these lights for oversize loads, the magnets that come with the light are not strong enough to stay on at highway speeds. I purchased strong magnets and replaced the originals. I tested the lights with all three flash patterns and the steady burn option. Steady burn lasted 13 hours, the other three flash patterns lasted an additional 3 hours. Pretty good battery life. It took a little over 5 hours to fully recharge after the test. When changing the magnets out i observed the seal between the two pieces to be very good, light rain should not be an issue. I would have given 5 stars if i didnt have to spend extra money on better magnets

I bought these in September and one works a lot better than the other. One won’t turn on on the first try and they do not change as many blinking variations as stated. The one doesn’t even work anymore and I do not use them everyday either . Very disappointing
