I love the Tweco-style twist locks on welding cables. I don't weld, but those terminals are great for high-amperage loads. I got them for my LiFePO4 bank project. I have a decent sized bank that I keep in my vehicle for car audio, but I also use it for an emergency power source in case of power outages. Instead of hard-wiring it into my vehicle's electrical system I wanted it removable. The Anderson-style connectors are pretty commonly used, but I don't trust them as much (too many stories online of them burning up), so I wanted something else. Enter the LC-40 twist connectors.At first I thought the only options were just the male-female pairs, but when I saw these I had to try them.They arrived in a plain cardboard box and included just the two terminals.There's no setup required for these, they're ready to use out of the box. Just connect the terminal to the power/ground source with a bolt, insert a male LC-40, twist.These are really solid terminals! They're very, very thick and heavy. These are awesome for grounding points because there's a ton of surface area on the ring. The twist lock is smooth, though tough towards the locking point, just make sure you bolt these down with the biggest bolt you can find.Overall I'm very pleased with these terminals. These LC-40 connectors are great for handling a high amount of amperage, lock tightly, and are quick and easy to disconnect.I recommend!

Unfortunately, these Welding Lugs (for Lenco Style LC-40 LC-40HD Male Leads Connectors, 17/32" Stud Hole, Angle 45°) did not work for my purposes. I have an ooooold A/C welder with proprietary lugs that I want to update and was hoping to get lucky with these. Sadly, they don't quite fit tightly enough and, with hundreds of amps surging through them, I'm not taking any chances. They seem to be made well from high quality materials, though I cannot speak to their functionality. I do not see any reason that they wouldn't work. I will definitely keep them around in case I have a use for them in the future. (Because it was my own failure to verify that they were suitable for my needs, I am giving them 5 stars. Please read the other reviews to get a more nuanced set of opinions.)
