I received what appears to be a revised (and improved) version of the DB15 male-to-female breakout board, using a 2-sided board with vias to allow a neater trace layout (see photos).I personally use DB15 connectors for my homebrew Arduino-based HVAC controller system, which has a whole bunch of daisy-chained independent modules that do things like prevent the compressor from stopping and restarting too quickly (say, if there's a brief power interruption), DETECTING FPL's endless lightning-storm power interruptions (so it can instantly abort a cycle in progress, instead of allowing the compressor to restart backwards a second later while making a sound that can only be described as 'mechanical death')... sensing a frozen coil... monitoring the state of the condenser unit's fan and overall system health... ensuring that the system runs for at least a few minutes a few times per hour overnight, even if there's no literal need for cooling, for the sake of air circulation... adjusting the blower speed... well, you get the idea. Basically, every time something has gone wrong with my air conditioner over the past ~15 years, I've extended the system with another module to detect THAT mode of failure, too (my oldest watchdog module is actually pre-Arduino, and is built around an ATTiny2313).The one improvement I might suggest to the seller would be to design a simple 3d-printable shell for it hosted somewhere like Thingiverse or Github, and include a link to it.... though even something like a pair of rectangular plastic rectangles, screwed to the top and bottom of the board to prevent accidental shorting, would probably be good enough as well.Anyway... if this board does what you need it to do, you can buy it with confidence. The board's design is nice, and the soldering is good.

Picked up this set after getting another similar port earlier, I liked it so much, I decided I needed more of them, so grabbed this set. The fact that there's two in the pack makes things much easier, testing is simpler, and the fact that the ports can be wired any way is needed is great, custom cables are easily built, so no more reasons not to purchase those hard to find cables devices that need odd pin cofnigurations. No longer a problem. Great stuff here for home tinkerers, DIY builders, or even businesses that need to build proprietary connectors or not proprietary ones for that matter. Very easy to work with, and a breeze to assemble.
