Package Included: 2x Sound Control Delay Switch Module
Voice-activated delay switch module, voice control sensitivity is adjustable, delay time is adjustable.
With LED indicator, Led On when the output, and when the output is off, the LED light is off.
Note: This module is not suitable for controlling devices that make sounds by themselves, such as motors, buzzers, etc. Suitable for controlling silent equipment such as LED.
Voice sensitivity adjustment: Rotate the adjustable potentiometer to change the size of the trigger sound. Rotate counterclockwise for low sensitivity (it requires a large sound module to be triggered), and rotate clockwise for high sensitivity (small sound module will be triggered), freely adjust the sensitivity.
Delay time range: default 0-25 seconds to adjust arbitrarily, if you need a longer delay, you can increase the capacitance value (customers can freely adjust the delay output time, counterclockwise rotation is short delay time, clockwise rotation is Long delay time).
Delay time-when there is a sound trigger, the output will start immediately, and the output will be turned off when the delay time is reached. For example, if a 1-minute delay is set, the OUT will start to output immediately when there is a sound. The delay time will not accumulate if there is another sound within 1 minute. When the delay reaches 1 minute, the output will be turned off. At this time, there will be another sound and start a delay cycle.
Note: If the power supply is reversed, the output will be short-circuited, and the module will burn. Pay attention to the static electricity of the soldering iron when soldering. It is recommended that the ordinary soldering iron is heated and then the plug is unplugged for soldering, DC soldering iron or soldering with grounding.

All I can say is that both boards were defective. I tinker in electronics and understand the basics. I applied 12v regulated DC to the board, it triggered once and never worked again. The other board would self oscillate regardless of sensitivity, sitting in a silent room. I guess I will try the $30 board and hope for the best.

These worked great for my project. I almost immediately burned out the first one by shorting it accidentally. I have this set up to ground a mosfet which switches a bunch of 5V LEDs in my car. The whole setup runs on a usb-a port in my car.I only wish there was control over frequency response to set one to bass and another to treble, etc. These seem to setup for higher frequencies and only sensitivity is adjustable in my tests thus far.

I used several of these sound detection boards for the noise created by someone tampering with a car doors or trailer doors. You can add them to walkie talkies and other noise devices like a siren.

Unfortunately it did not work.both of them started smoking within a minute of wiring them.had to return

I had a little idea and needed this board to see if my idea would work and it did, just need a cheaper version to mass produce. Good board but one was dead in arrival.
