There was no sign of any drilling on the collet nuts to balance them. I guess I am supposed to assume that they were perfectly balanced as machined with out the need for balance drilling. Will never buy from that AMAZON supplier again.

I purchased four. They all look well made but they are not balanced (no sign of material removal during balancing). One of them is severely out of balance while the other 3 are still out of balance, just not as bad. I can't use either out of caution. I don't want to ruin the spindle.

There is no evidence that these have been balanced, and they make my spindle sound like it's going to blow apart. Don't buy these. Spend some extra and get balanced nuts that won't damage your equipment.Not a single one has any balance holes bored in them.

These nuts are not balanced. They are not suitable for a CNC to run at 18,000 RPM. I have a review on youtube under @jllcnc
