The idea behind this conversion kit is to remove the old fog light, cut out all the plastic that used to hold the old light, install the new outer 'base' plastic ring to your car, then the 2 inner pieces (the light, and the cover) will screw into that. And as another poster said, that outer ring will not fit - trust me, it won't fit. But you can still make this kit work if you throw away that outer ring, then after you remove all the plastic create 2 new 'tabs' for the light and the plate to screw into (there is 1 that will work). There's no hardware included to bolt the light to the plate, and, at the end of the light bar there is a tab that you either need to break off (which leaves it a little loose), OR cut a horizontal slit into the face of your bumper for it to fit into (I used a hot soldering iron). The factory harness will not plug into this and this kit doesn't come with a wiring plug. And if you are wanting these as daytime running lights, you'll need to figure out how to resist the old plug so that it doesn't turn on the warning message on the dash. I do like the way it looks when it's finished, but it's not for the faint of heart.

Beware if you have a pre facelift. It will not fit. I can tell these are for my year because the overall shape matches perfectly but you if you see in my photos the inner part of the bump blocks me from installing it. and yes its the correct side. I made sure the posting was for the pre-facelift so I know I ordered the correct part. On a side note they feel very cheap. Not sure I would keep these anyways. Returning for full refund.

Be very careful when disassemble the light to install in the bumper cover the hold down tabs break easily

After only few days of installing them and washing the car I noticed there is water already inside the DRL housing that means there is a leak somewhere in the housing I might have to buy a new one from somewhere else ! So disappointed after spending good money on these item !
