These are more plastic than metal because they're more like metal plated and they took some force to get these onto my EMG blade switch but got it to work. Looks really cool with my red knobs, red pickups, and red strap on a black guitar!

The top is a polished,chrome red,the interior is white not black like in pictures. The X on the bottom is made so one side is wide and the other for a thinner switch blade. Even the smaller side though was way too lose on all my Jackson’s,Ibanez,ESP,B.C Rich Fender and Ovation/Celebrity guitars.A tiny dab of blue lock tight or Super glue is definitely needed or you’ll lose it.The item looks great though but unfortunately they’re plastic not metal,at this price point i expected they’d be metal.They should literally be half this price for sure.I bought three different sets of them in red,blue and chrome.Why i have no idea?These should be $5 for the two in my opinion,you can buy three metal ones for the same price and even a dollar cheaper but not in red or blue.I have a review of those metal switch tops too if interested.I left pictures for you all so i hope this review helps! Thanks!

The fit on the tele was very tight but then it won't slip off easy either. Other wise it is great. The color matches what I wanted to match against the body....Charlie

this is a metal shell with a plastic (nylon?) sleeve. has perfect tension around the blade and great look on a mature schecture with dark nickel hardware.

These have 2 different sized slots. Very nice as they will fit different switches

Just FYI: this does not fit a standard 5 way Strat switch. Not even close.
