- Use with 3/4" hex socket or 3/8" square drive. Size: M18x1.5 Also works on M18x1.5 spark plug threads; M12 x 1.25 Also works on M12x1.25 spark plug threads.

4 items saved me from having o take my car to the shop for O2 sensor replacement.These thread chasers are almost a necessity when doing an O2 sensor replacement - but them, They may be hard to start the threading but be patient and make sure not to cross-thread (should provide some resistance at first but will be pretty smooth once started - don't continue to thread if resistance is too great after getting it started - there will be some resistance all the way but not so much as you have to strain to get it to turn).The other tool that saved me was this wrench (almost required to get a stuck sensor out): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I6TBHE0?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1Also, highly recommend using high-temp anti-seize compound on both the chaser and sensor threads but use sparingly to not foul the sensor.The final tool I used was the traditional O2 sensor socket set.Good luck.

It fixed a cross- threaded O2 bung just as it described......great fix for a low price.....very happy with this attempt worked out well........ Must remember to stay alert , spray a few shots of WD/PB and work wise to keep the tool square as you work past the entrance damaged threads...if you force the tool to stay straight/square it will get easier cutting the damage back to into normal as it reaches 1/4 in, half-way in, 3/4 the way in, and finally bottom. (Repaired a Amazon rplcmt 2-pc cat-con pipe kit for "08 tahoe)

Mine came in with one part kinda damaged. Had to sand a part of the thread back to thin since it was kind flattened. Dropped maybe.

I bought these to clean the threads of my O2 sensors. For this use case the product was perfect. Lubricated the thread chasers before use and they were not hard to turn. The threads on the chasers didn't really scuff up from use on 1 car, and this seems like a perfect product for someone not doing this procedure daily.

It got the job done without a hitch. I am sure the thread on the CAT is super hard, yet the tool did not get damaged. The thread cleaned on the CAT and the tool is just as good as when I unpacked it. Don't fall into Chinese knock-off crap, this tool is as good as an american made tool, at a fraction of the cost
