Product Description
RP-L resistive varistor is a flexible film sensor whose resistance value decreases as the pressure acting on the sensing zone increases.
The single sensing zone sensor is equivalent to a dual-port variable resistor whose resistance value is controlled by pressure, and it is also equivalent to a switch with a certain threshold value, which is determined by the pressure and the equipment parameter setting.
RP-L flexible film pressure-sensitive sensor is composed of polyester film with excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, highly conductive materials and nano-scale pressure-sensitive materials. The top layer is a flexible film and a pressure-sensitive layer composite on it, and the bottom layer is a flexible film and composite on it Conductive circuit. The two are attached by double-sided adhesive tape and the sensing area is isolated. When the sensing region is compressed, the lines disconnected from each other at the bottom layer will be conducted through the pressure-sensitive layer of the top layer, and the resistance output value of the port changes with the pressure.

Seems to be a lot smaller than I originally expected but they work great foe what I plan to use them for. I was initially worried about soldering them for my project as their so small but they work REALLY well for pressure static pressure sensors and hoping they hold up for a long time as they look to be very well made.

Will be using these with a ESP32 to add additional automation in the house to take action (turn on bedroom TV, dim bedroom lights, turn off other lights in the house, etc.) depending on whether one of us or both of us get into bed. Tested them with Arduino and they work great, just need to wire them up to an ESP32 get the automations in place.These force resistance sensors are nicely made and I believe will work well under the mattress, being a longer strip other than small square sensors I've used for other projects.

I ordered these for a project and haven't implemented them yet, however I did test them and they work perfectly. They respond quickly and to fairly light pressure.I didn't pay attention to the package size and found them pretty small as you can see in the attached image.Quick shipping and overall I'd definitely order again!
