Re-writing my review. I thought I could adapt a 2nd filter for my tractor. Worked ok for a couple months then I couldn’t stop the leak under pressure. I tried to re-tap and made it worse. I read a review that it was used on a brake line. After my experience I wouldn’t do that.

Needed to do brake lines on my car, but it's a very weird thread pitch (1/2-28). I wanted to cap it off during installation and this was it. (didn't want rubber on direct threads). Caps off nice and snug with a 3/4 rubber cap. Everyone else must be a Hemi enthusiast here from the 5.56 Liter engines. But definitely works on my German 5.5
