These are a great addition to anyone's home shop.Doing an at home alignment after changing suspension components is a pain. There's a couple of methods out there that work ok, but none of them usually get you all the way dialed in.On simple setups where you only need to set toe, these are great. I've seen people make their own versions of these, using anything from 2x4's to angle iron. The biggest drawback is always going to be how straight the material that you're using actually is.I got these to check out and was impressed with the build quality. They aren't super heavy duty, but they are decent. I would advise keeping them somewhere safe where they wont get something dropped on them, I can see them getting bent if not properly protected. If they get bent and aren't true anymore then they become pretty useless.They could be built a bit heavier, but other than that, they're great!

These do not fit every vehicle as they are. As seen in the picture, they do not work on my 2000 Dodge Caravan. They need to set level with the ground to be the most accurate and as seen, they are hitting the brake caliper mount and at a steep angle. The real issue is the back of the tool is up so high that it is above the body line, preventing any measurement from the back side, making the tool useless for this vehicle. What they really need to do is put a 5 to 6 inch drop between the mounting point and the flat part of the tool where you measure from. Before ordering this tool, make sure that your caliper mounting points are not in the way.

My mechanic husband says this is a nice idea for the backyard mechanic. If you change a tie rod end, or any other part that changes the toe, this can help you get it close to spec. The notches that are in the tool to hold the tape measures, is a handy feature that makes adjusting by yourself a lot easier. Using it is pretty straightforward and easy. My husband is dubious about the ads claims that it heavy duty stainless steel, as most things that stainless don’t come painted. Also it isn’t really something he would call heavy duty, and thinks it is actually pretty thin material. So you’re going to need to be careful how this is stored. He said this is really just a tool to help you get it to a place where you can drive it without smoking off your tires, until you can get it in for a proper alignment. He also felt it was a little pricey given the material used.

These are a little shorter than others I've used before. But they function as they should. They are easy to use as long as you have 2 identical tape measures. They look like they're built the same as others I've used before that cost more.Overall, they work. Can't ask for much more.

you do have to remove the wheel to use these but if you're changing tie rod ends and such you may already have them off. Simple to use just attach them and use a pair of matching tape measure to get your results.

Quality product if you need to perform a quick alignment / adjustment at home and do not own a rack. Easy to install on the hubs and so far easy to use and measure. Good value!
