These can be installed in a few minutes and are noticeably clearer and brighter than incandescent or LED bulbs in the factory lens. One of the tag lights on my former salvage C-Max was broken and taped in, so I ordered these to replace them. I used an awl to compress the metal clip and remove the old lenses and found both sockets to have been burnt by the factory bulbs. I'd replaced the burnt out left bulb with an LED as shown in the picture. This replacement part plugs into the socket and snaps in just like the old lens. Bonus, now I can finally wash the car without the old tag light falling out!

So these are much brighter than what I had installed (although that could be due to age) and they are a perfect fit. I can't complain at all.
