Installation Steps
Step 1. Screw the propane refill adapter on the big tank.
Step 2. Screw the 1lb propane tank on the adapter.
Step 3. Flip the big tank over, then open the valve and it starts refilling.
Note: ONLY used for outdoors.

Works exactly as described. Watched a You tube video so I didn't blow myself up. Great product, unless you like spending $7-10 for the 1lb. cans. Use a 20lb. and refill your used cans.Gets a Thumbs up!

This works great, although there was a bit of a learning curve to figure it out at first. I've already refilled probably a half dozen tanks in just a few weeks and it's easily paid for itself, while also reducing waste I would have otherwise been tossing out.It's maybe not the safest thing in the world (you're really not supposed to refill those tanks - and its technically illegal to transport them, once you have refilled them - but I won't tell if you won't tell.) That said I had no problems at all. I've been careful not to over-fill, using a kitchen scale to weigh the tank as I go. (A green Coleman tank should weigh about 30oz, I refill to about 29oz to be safe. My refilled tanks have held the gas without leaks or issue and powered my propane gadgets as normal.

It leaked were you conect it to the big tank and couldn't get but a tiny bit in to the small tank it leaked so bad it was dripping out and I couldn't get it any tighter even tried channel locks still leaked wouldn't recommend

Simple, hook onto propane tank, open valve, connect to little green bottle, flip tank upside down on table/stand and open gate valve, letting green tank stand on ground underneath, fills right up.

por mas bien que se apriete y se use el teflon que viene incluido siempre tira gas y no llena el tanque. no me funciono.
