Maintaining water in a swimming pool is far easier than in a swim spa because tiny amounts of chemicals can really throw things off balance. After spending over $100 on chemicals and weeks of trying to balance everything in our new spa, dumping the water and refilling, and getting extremely frustrated, I finally bit the bullet and bought the Frog Ease system. My water has been perfect ever since and this ends up being less expensive in the long run. Just buy it, trust me.

They don't last very long and are very expensive. I am going back to using scoop chlorine. Not worth it.

I like the fact that this is released by floating. However, even set on the slowest release, they only last about 2.5 weeks. So they are kind of pricey at this rate.
