I have the older type you clamp to the table and a motor to attach to power the rollers/cutters. This is so much easier because you can roll and cut the pasta sheets as you go, no cords to hook up. At first I couldn’t get it to attach to my mixer but then I realized I had it upside down! I am very pleased with this product and the price was really excellent on Black Friday. I will be making fresh pasta more often!

All The attachments work and you get some decent pasta out of it. I’m not a pro and this is my first time using it so it seemed to be overall effective at creating some decent pasta.

Got this for a fun date night idea. Ended up becoming a regular fixture in the kitchen tool lineup. It works great, fitting easily onto the mixer and staying put through hours of use. It can be hard to clean, but so is a regular pasta roller. The settings are easy enough to adjust and all the expected functions and features are there. If you've ever used a high-end version of these tools, you will notice the gap, but so it goes for all tools in the kitchen. Overall, for the price point, this hits the sweet spot.

There were no instructions with this, and the first time I used it I did not get good results. However, it works like other pasta attachments, so watching some Youtube videos put me on the right path.There are two pasta cutters in this. One makes spaghetti and one makes a wider noodle a bit wider than fettucini. Both work well. The homemade pasta was so delicious! It's a bit of trouble, but we did enjoy it.

It works, but this one has a defective knob that dials the thickness of the dough. I will need to return it.
