I purchased one of those washer / dryer combos and didn’t need to use the dryer vent anymore and wanted to close it up to keep critters out and not let in the cold air. this was perfect for sealing up that hole in the wash room. It was fit and snug.

Seems sturdy enough and no concerns about its doing the job. Took one star off because the product label on the one I received was difficult to remove completely. Despite soaking, the adhesive never came off. So might not be perfect for use in a public area.

I could not find a solid dryer vent cap or this specific size at any big box hardware store. This was perfect. No air gaps.

Snug fit, seemed to work on its own but I added aluminum tape just to be safe.

Alas this was not the right product for my need, but I’m keeping it because it might be the perfect solution for a future project.It is very well-built and well designed, and with the handle so securely attached, it becomes easy to use and reuse. It has a small but firmly secured seamless gasket that will serve to keep things waterproof. If you order it you won’t regret it.

Having moved to a condensing dryer, I didn't really want to leave the vent open to the kitchen. This worked perfectly and was easy to fit.
