We inherited a cherry wood king size bed with side bed boards and head & foot boards. The new boxsprings weren’t high enough to have the mattress lay even with the wood bed rails, so the mattress sat 3†inside which made putting the sheets on the bed impossible. This product was perfect, since it brought the mattress up 3†to be even with wood side boards. I took pictures that show the cherry furniture part of the bed, the boxspring below the furniture part and how the metal 3†additional box spring brought the mattress level with the side boards of the bed. It is so easy now to put sheets on the bed. It was pretty easy for my husband to put these 2 metal twin Xl boxes together, and they fit perfectly.

Our bed is a platform bed with both sideboards and a footboard. Due to the thickness of the mattress, even when we tried to use a 5†boxspring, the top height of the mattress was way too high and it was difficult to get into the bed. However, when we placed the mattress directly on top of the bed frame slats, the mattress actually sat down in the platform bed, about 2†below the side and footboards making it very difficult to lift the mattress to make the bed. This product accomplished our goal of raising the mattress up just enough to clear the side and footboards, but not making the height of the top of the mattress too high. It raised thebottom of the mattress about 1 inch above the side and footboards . Now, it is so much easier to get underneath the mattress when making the bed. Assembly was very easy. I took my time, was very careful and it took about 45 minutes to assemble. The instructions have excellent illustrations that clearly illustrate the assembly process. This unit is very sturdy and is exactly as described by the manufacturer. Again, mission accomplished!

Needed a shorter box spring for my high bed. This fit the bill perfectly. Only issue was putting the cover on. It was so tight that I put a couple small holes in it while forcing it over the corners. Other than that, I am very happy with it.

I was pleasantly surprised that it was so easy to put together! I am a senior, a woman and had no problem doing it myself. The instructions were easy, well packaged and best of all it was exactly what I was hoping for! Would buy again if needed another.

The frame is well made assembly was easy but highly recommended using your own tools, my only complaint is that the cover did not fit, not sure if they sent the wrong one or not, there was no way to put it on, way smaller than the frame, not a deal breaker, we don’t really need it, just being used as a booster
