Steps to Change Password:
- Enter the current combination (default is 0-0-0).
- When unlocked, turn the lock 90°.
- Use a paperclip/small stick to press the hole at the bottom of the lock.
- WHILE HOLDING in the paperclip/small stick, change the password to your choice. Do not loosen it.
- When done, pull out the paperclip/small stick.

I hate going out to my RV and forgetting my keys and not being able to get into one of the compartments. These locks have eliminated that for me. I set them to my super secret pin number and I never have to remember my keys. I use these in combination with the standard twist handle and it works great. You could however use a keyed one and this together in tandem if security was of the utmost importance I suppose as that way you'd have to break through both, but these are really just more of a deterrent than anything else and a blood pressure reducer for every time I forget my keys!I hope you found this helpful.

Love the replacement locks for our cabinet doors. Use them on the outside cabinets on our RV so we don't need keys.

The lock is sturdy. Hard to see the numbers. The instructions are not clear for adjusting the combination. Check the other reviews for a video and instructions to grab the shaft to be able to turn the lock mechanism which is fixed to both knobs. If the numbers were easier to see and better instructions would give a 5.

Thought these would work out and reduce the risk of thievery since there are a limited # of keys, that are standard for the OEM locks. The install was ok, but the numbered wheels to set the combination and to lock/unlock them got stuck, leaving the bins either locked or unlocked all the time. So I replaced them all with a different type of lock with the cylinder shaped keys. Would not buy theses.

They are good and they are sturdy. According to the reviews it was a little hard to get it to 0-0-0 but once you get the first one the rest come easy. I ordered the pack of 3 and 2 out of 3 came really good. first off i re-read the item description when it arrived, it stated that item comes with original code and reset instructions. Mines did not come with any. Wasnt to hard to figure out, if anyone doesnt get instructions you can look up item name and user manual on google and you will be able to figure it out. I wasnt to bummed about it. Anyway the third one was not set to 0-0-0 for reset, so i spent 30 minutes to figure the "1000" possibilities and gave up. Its very hard to figure out a code you dont know while pushing a paper clip in while moving the dials. It is what is is. I left the seller a message, I will update you how they handle it.
