After probably YEARS of dealing with ink (especially the red) barely visible, I decided to search for replacement ribbon before buying a new calculator. I have a Sharp EL-1801V and oh my gosh!! WHY WHY did I wait sooooo long?? Very easy to install and to be honest...the hardest part was feeding the paper thru the slot! Far cheaper to replace the ribbon on a favorite dependable calculator then buying a new calculator and having to adjust to where all the buttons are. Two Thumbs up!
