We recently tried out the Party Pool color additive for our swimming pool, and it was a fantastic experience! The blue color it gave to our pool was vibrant and added a fun, festive touch to our backyard party.A quick tip: make sure to follow the directions and mix it with water before adding it to your pool. We did try adding it directly without mixing first, and while it worked, it left a film on the top of the water. Mixing it beforehand ensures an even, beautiful color without any residue.Overall, we’re thrilled with the results and will definitely be using this product again for our future pool parties! The first photo is when we added it to the water and the second photo is approximately an hour later.

I choose an aqua color pebble tech for the granite in my pool and blue tiles at top under stones it’s nice I love my pool it’s just the contrast of the tile and granite aqua is off to me it’s always looking a lil green/ blue but it’s perfectly balanced :/ it’s that one thing that I regretted i don’t know why they make a green blue I was thinking it’d be more blue really who wants a green pool ? Well it’s a fortune to do over or paint i don’t know if It’s possible to change the color with paint .. so this blue is amazing I used a whole bottle for 36k gallons and lasted until I added ph down it needed so that’s a way to lighten it up apparently . Next time i’m going to start With 1/2 bottle And see how it looks but either way it’s amazing and made me very happy after 12 years regretting that granite choice it’s so nice to swim in blue blue water ! Thank you !

A very concentrated solution that will stain anything it comes in contact with(skimmer, stairs, hands etc). You will get that Caribbean blue but use slowly and wait for it to fully mix with the pool water before adding more.

If you follow the directions exactly this turns the water a beautiful color blue. It doesn't really look like the stock pictures, which is a good thing. The blue really just makes it a nice deep blue without looking too fake. Our liner is white so we use this for pool parties to make the water a nicer color.Be very careful when dumping into the pool. The first time we used this the wind splashed a little bit of the mixture onto the the edge of the pool while we were dumping it in the water. It dyed the white edge instantly and we haven't found any way to get it off yet. When applied directly into the water the correct way, nothing gets dyed - only the water. One bottle is enough to dye our pool twice (in-ground 18'x32' plus steps area with 9' deep at the deep end). It takes a couple days to fully circulate out of our pool with the pump running 24/7. Once the water returns to normal color, you'll probably want to backwash the filter to get the dye out that gets stuck in there.I can't speak for the other colors this comes in. We have only used the blue.

I have an old pool with a super faded white liner. The pool was looking dull so I wanted to try this product. I used about 1/4 of the bottle and it looks amazing. (Mix with water in a bucket and pour around the pool) Attached are pics before and after the blue was added. It only lasts about 1-3 days but I think it's great when we have guests!UPDATE:I backwashed my pool and the blue stained my entire driveway/ down the street for 5 houses. It’s been over 30 days and it’s still there. Won’t be using again

I use the Blue Lagoon all season. 9x18', 14,000 gallon above ground pool. Has made our pool water a deep blue or can add less colorant for just a hint of blue. The color lasts about four days, before I add it again. Our city water at times, can be a little rusty, so this is perfect for us. It does leave a stain on the waters edge sometimes, but comes out if you use Mr. Clean Eraser. I use it in our waterfall fountain and our small shell type fountain. It does not stain the cement, on the smaller one, but does stain the fiberglass waterfall, which did not bother us at all. I used small blue glass pebbles to decorate the tiers. At end of season, we cleaned waterfall fountain good with a brush and bleach water. When we took tarp off this spring, it was the original white color. Fiberglass rocks, stones and 2 tiers. It's beautiful with the Blue Lagoon. Also, I wear disposable plastic gloves when I put the color in, and double bag the container in Zip Lock Bags, until next use.

My pool liner is faded and although the water is clean the color is just not appealing for a party. I read all the reviews good and bad. The good reviews said that the people leaving the bad reviews must not be following the directions. So I thought I would give the product a test run. I followed the directions. The pool was beautiful. My husband got in on day one and was fine. I was apprehensive due to the fact that my hair is bleach blonde and I did not want it blue. On day three, the water was still beautiful but needed to be vacuumed. I was only in for about 15 minutes. When I got out of the water I found that my entire body from the waterline down was now dyed blue! I hurried into the shower and scrubbed!!! The majority of it came off. I'm glad I decided not to get my hair wet. So my recommendation is to only buy this product if you are not planning on anyone actually getting in the pool. Pictures included: Day One, Day Three, and my Dyed Skin
