Nice, plexiglass, thick enough you can't cut it with shears or scissors. To cut you'll actually scribe or score it and then snap it as you would glass. (or use a jig saw). I use this stuff to protect the doors from the puppies claws as they get excited when we come home. It's plexiglass. I scored and snapped the sizes I needed to put on the door with 3m command strips. They are working great, and unlike thin 3-4mm plastic wrap, this doesn't shred apart with sharp little dog or cat claws. Once I snap the plastic, I then take my blow torch to the edges and make them nice, smooth and clear. Glad I bought the 5 pack, and have made a few other projects out of the rest. Great value, way better than the other items sold which claim to protect your door from the pets. You need to know what you're doing with this stuff to use it effectively; and have at least a little "Handyman Skill" or a friend who can.

Came packaged nicely, I needed sheets I could cut down to fit a custom frame so I could protect a picture. These sheets are thin but cut good with a table saw, you do have to move slow. They came with protection on both sides so they remained scratch free until I was ready to use them. The plastic is very clear and worked great for my needs.

Lexan type material it is 1/32 and able to cut edge with router edge bit to fit on my new desktop desk. Material does not crack or fracture and is scratch resistant ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ GREAT 😃ðŸ‘

I sued them as the glass in my art frames incase they =drop the frame it does not cut anyone.

I think it will still end up working for what I need, but it's quite the stretch to call these 0.04" thick. I measured with my micrometer and with the protective layers removed mine measures 0.027". The length and width measurements were accurate.

Update: included a pic so you can see wht I did with these. It has been very windy but they have stayed up and from the street look pretty okay. I didn't want to spring for glass panes, but I did want to protect the property for the owner.Update: I went over the 'seam' between the four plus pieces with clear tape to keep them steady during wind and rain. They seem pretty durable. I will try to put up some pics of the window that I used these on, making a 'pane' out of a little more than four....I used these to create a barrier between the screen of a window on a patio of a neighboring house and the inside. The glass had been knocked out so I used a little more than four of these for each window. They work well. I stapled the pieces together and then duck taped them along the outside and they look nice. Clear, see through. Remember to peel the 'backing' off them. It makes a difference in their clarity. I would recommend these. So far they have stood up to rain and wind. I used tape that matched the silver pane holder so it seems to fit in better. Keeps the rain out and the cold for the upcoming winter.

It is hard to tell in the picture, but behind all of those jars is where the plexiglass is. During the winter months, our house is so big I have to cut off half of it. I did not want an eyesore hanging there blocking it, so I ordered these sheets. Very impressed with the clarity and strength of it.
