I somehow never imagined that the seal in y Instant pot would need an eventual replacement. I was sort of used to it working perfectly in and out. Well, I was wrong. Apparently after time it stretchen and gives up the perfect seal. And, as always, one finds out when one really doesn't expect it. Thanks to Amazon.com these sealing rings were delivered quickly. Everything is well again. They fit perfectly.

Work great. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have different silicone rings for different functions. You don't want to make yogurt with the same silcone ring that was in the lid when you made sauerkraut and ribs, for instance. You also probably don't want to cook potatoes with the same ring that cooked something that was cinnamon-heavy. A lot of our ability to taste comes from what we smell, and that scent lingers.The color coding makes it easy to remember whether it's safe for your cheesecake or your garlicy masterpiece. I use clear for savory dishes, the red for sweets, and the blue for yogurt.

They all fit! I like the colors more than the clear. The original clear one that came with my Instant Pot has changed colors- looks dirty- that's why I prefer the colors. These are good replacements/backups.

I have a 5 quart instant pot and a friend told me I need to be prepared to change out the sealing ring because they can start affecting the taste and smell of the food they are exposed too, and they can become ineffective at giving a proper seal over time. I've not actually had those experiences yet because I'm pretty new to my instant pot, but got these so I could have them whenever that happens. I did trade out the original for one of these just to see if it would fit and work properly and it was just like the one that came with the cooker. It worked with no problems, and I'm happy to have these as back ups when needed. They are a good value at the current price of $9.99 for 3 rings as well. 5 big stars!
