There is no correct or wrong answer.

Except for the terrarium's lighting that affects the terrarium's beauty and your pet's comfort, the colors of your terrarium background should match the colors of your fish, decoration, and lighting equipment. Removing Wrinkles:
Our cloth terrarium background might arrive with slight wrinkles due to packaging folds and shipping.
To remove wrinkles,
1. Lay your background flat on your table and place it under heavy things like books for 1-2 days to reduce wrinkles.
2. Gently use a hairdryer on a low heat setting and keep the hairdryer moving to prevent melting. The heat will help the terrarium background regain its smoothness.
Easy to install:
1. Use a soft damp cloth and mild soap or terrarium-safe cleaner to remove any dirt, or stains on the back of your terrarium.
2. Use sharp scissors to trim off any excess white edges of the background.
3. Attach double-sided tape to four corners of your background.
4. Apply the background to the back of your terrarium.

There are manual measurement differences and the sizes of the product may be 0.5-1 inches of error.

I was expecting plastic as I've had in the past but this is a nice material. Comes with tons of sticky pads to use. Perfect size for my terrarium. Vibrant colors.

Maybe I just didn't really read the description, but I was expecting the flimsy paper backgrounds like you get for fish tanks. These are more like a canvas type material and come with strong double sided mounting tapes. The picture is great quality as well. Such a surprise! I am super happy with these backgrounds. Thanks you!

I was pleasantly surprised when these came the very next day instead of having to wait the 3 days it said it would take to get them. They are exactly as they look in the picture. They look very durable being a thicker cloth. We put ours on the outside of our tanks and it was super easy to install with the tape they provide. Our beardies seem to like them.
