Item quality seemed good enough, my issue was that it was wrong application for the job I wanted it to do. For future reference this will NOT work with reducing a 1/2 flare to 3/8 flare for hvac applications. The 1/2 threads on this adapter will strip the threads on the male of the 1/2 flare.
