We used these three microphones in an act where we were lip-syncing and they were perfect. Absolutely pleased with how authentic they looked, and for the money charged they were an absolute bargain. I can't recommend these enough!

The only weird thing is that the bottom opens up for batteries like a real microphone, but it is not “wired†for batteries.

This set of fake microphones is an amazing value for the price point! The mics are made of a heavy-ish plastic and have a great life like look and feel to them! They make perfect props or accessories for a costume. They also come in handy if you need to practice to give a speech. I used one for a pop singer costume for Halloween and it was perfect! Great buy!

My daughter chose to be Michael Jackson for Halloween, so we needed the microphone prop of course! This does look real. It isn't cheap plastic either. The top of the mic looks so real. It does also have the buttons on it that make it look like it functions, but it is nothing more than a prop toy. We did notice that it comes apart but we aren't sure why or if it has a function that way. It is about the standard size of a real microphone. Maybe about 8 to 10" long. This would be suitable for any age.
