Looks nice, though we keep it behind a piece of furniture when folded up. Opens easily, strong, and I LOVE the little socks included! I thought it was silly, but it's so nice not to worry about my new floors when moving it around the kitchen. As an older adult, I worry a little not having a 'handlebar' so I make sure I can steady myself with the wall, fridge, etc.

This is a very well constructed stepstool / ladder. I purchased it for my wife to use in our bedroom master closet. She can use the stepstool feature to access items on the top shelf, but also uses it to sit on during dressing. She also likes how easy it is to fold up - takes up a lot less space folded. I purchased the "dark" finish... it IS very dark - almost black. I was hoping for a darker wood-tone - this finish isn't an ideal match for our other furniture, but hey, it's still a solid piece and very sturdy.

As a shorter person who can not reach shelves, this is the perfect step ladder. It looks beautiful next to my wood built in shelves and keeps me from having to drag an ugly fold up around. It comes assembled, is not to heavy and also makes a great seat. I will be getting more for the rest of my house!

When we got this my husband and I loved it. Then I noticed one of the screws is loosening. And it’s assembled in such a way with this particular screw, I will have to completely disassemble it to tighten that one part. Not even fun to think about it. We shall see how long this will last…
