Good tool for the price. Great for someone doing their own AC work once or twice but not a professional quality tool. I don't regret it though. It worked I just used cans with the little charger hose on them to recharge after I vacuumed instead of recharging with the manifold guage. Successfully replaced compressor amd recharged on both my trucks.

As a DIYer with just enough HVAC training to understand the readings of this gauge set, I found them to be well featured and worked perfectly. Having a reasonably priced gauge set saved me $$ when buying refrigerant. A 12 ounce can of R134 in Home Depot was just $13 comp, a 12 can with built in gauges was nearly $40 at Advace auto parts.

I was able to do the job but since I keep this system I wish I would have paid a little more for a better one. There are two features missing.1) a valve on the quick connects. Without the removal of the high pressure one will spill out gas and oil which leaves a mess.2) a bleeder is missing to ensure that no air gets into the system.

There was no vavllllve to bleed the hose when putting ac, but most importantly the can tap leaked at it's seams and couldn't be used. Waste of money and time.
